SME summit in Frankfurt: Hansgeorg Derks on ‘The brand as a resilience factor’
The Weimer Media Group organized a business fair at the end of October as part of the Finance & Future Days at Messe Frankfurt’s Kap Europa. Well-known speakers from business and politics, industry as well as start-up scene took to the podium. The top-level meeting focused on AI and digitalization, corporate finance, transformation and succession planning. ‘How can SMEs grow?’ is top of mind, especially during turbulent times.
In his presentation on ‘The brand as a resilience factor in the crisis’, Hansgeorg Derks spoke about strategies and opportunities to utilize the power of a brand to significantly contribute to the success of a company. n-tv business reporter and digital expert Frauke Holzmeier moderated the panel talk, joined by Katharina Roehrig, Managing Director of Communications and Sustainability at the Melitta Group, and futurologist Prof Dr Anabel Ternès von Hattburg in a lively discussion that highlighted the various facets of the topic. All in all, it was a stimulating convention which, as a two-day marathon, provided plenty of impetus and focussed on the topics of business, values and prosperity.
